The Thrale Charity (RIN) Small Grants Programme is open for applications

It’s that time again. If you are a local group, charity or non-profit organisation serving the community in any of the post codes below; and if you think that your work fits with our areas of interest; then please read the guidance sheet and complete the application form.

Your application must reach us by Friday 1st December  to be considered for a grant. In the last round we gave small grants of between £500 and £5000 to 13 local groups from Streatham, West Norwood, Tulse Hill, Balham and Brixton (postcodes - SW16, SW12, SW17, SW2, SE24, SE21, SE27).

 The Charity’s main function for many years has been to provide and manage almhouses on Polworth Road, Streatham.

Unfortunately the original 10 homes built in the 1930's were becoming very outdated and no longer fit for modern comfortable living so two years ago Thrale embarked on a £3m redevelopment of the site, to create a mix of updated and new, affordable homes, fit for the 21st century. These buildings were finished during the summer this year. There are now seventeen lovely homes around an enclosed garden - small houses and modern flats
